Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate patient care and support in a dynamic medical environment.
Duties
- Perform patient assessments and provide basic medical care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assist with specimen collection processing
- Conduct health coaching and education for patients
- Support patients with various needs, including infant care and individuals with developmental disabilities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in cardiac catheterization procedures and other specialized treatments
- Utilize electronic health record systems like Cerner for documentation
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
- Current LPN license in the state of practice
- Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing home or Level II Trauma Center
- Proficiency in IV insertion and patient care techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Nice-to-have skills: Health coaching, experience working with people with developmental disabilities, familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures, and knowledge of infant care practices.

Pay: $40.00 - $46.00 per hour
