Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patients' conditions upon arrival.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy in accordance with established protocols.
- Perform triage to prioritize patient care based on the severity of their conditions.
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques as needed for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including ICD-9 coding for diagnoses and treatments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, including toddlers and elderly individuals in nursing home settings.
- Ensure a safe and sterile environment by following infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Proven experience in a medical office or emergency room setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medication administration practices and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Ability to perform specimen collection processing accurately and efficiently.
