- Will perform all equipment adjustments and change overs and troubleshoot equipment when problems occur
- Checking for codes on cans that are correct with what we are running. Checking of cans on each basket. Person will need to run HMI panel during job function.
- Ensure loader is operating as it should.
- Remove dented cans during operation
- Run the basket loader or unloader
- Move stock carts in the area
- Packing of can products in a timely and safe manner, maintaining highest quality standard
- Communicate with Can Packaging members or Can Packaging Lead on any quality or safety concerns
- Assist Can Packaging members in controlling code dates, expiration dates, labels, stickers and any item unique to product specifications
- Assist Can Packaging members in controlling product quality, contamination, weight control and line efficiency
- Completes general cleaning of production areas during change overs
- Perform all sanitation duties needed at the line
- All other duties as assigned
