Experienced Retail Sales Associate

We're looking for a mature and experienced retail sales associate. This position has very high potential for turning into a managerial position.

Work Schedule

• The store is open 7 days per week.
• Full time (about 35-40 hours per week), or part time.
• Time off during May-July is very limited because this is our busy season.
• Position will normally work 5 days per week.
• Closed on Christmas, 4th of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Easter, and Thanksgiving.

Training:

• New hires are required to watch about 2.5 hours of training videos during their first week of employment.
• New hires are paid for their training time.
• Most training is provided on the job by your manager during your first month of work.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
• Can carry 50 pounds. (during busy days, employees are on their feet most of the day and carry chemicals and products to customer cars many times per hour)
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments on their feet.
• Basic math skills to operate cash register.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships

Responsibilities

• Carry chemicals and merchandise to customer cars (up to 50 pounds, sometimes several times per hour).
• Operate cash register.
• Test customers' water.
• Ensure racks are fully stocked.
• Complete daily paperwork about store sales and inventory.
• Educate customers on pools, spas, parts, and water chemistry.
• Sell pools, spas, automatic pool cleaners, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
