Seasonal Retail Sales Associate

This seasonal position is great for college students, high school seniors, retirees, or people happy to only work just 3-8 months of the year. The job provides flexible hours and a fun, engaging environment! Seasonal employees are usually invited to return each spring.

The best candidates will be extremely friendly, personable, and eager to speak to customers. This is a busy job that requires you to be on your feet most of the day speaking with customers in person or on the phone and organizing the store.

Work Schedule

• Full time (about 35-40 hours per week), or part time (25-35 hours per week).
• Required to work most weekends..
• The store is open 7 days per week.

Pay:

Applicants with minimal customer service experience normally start around $11-12/hr. More experienced ones around $13-$14/hr.

Training:

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
• At least 16 years old.
• Can carry 50 pounds. (during busy days, employees are on their feet most of the day and carry chemicals and products to customer cars many times per hour)
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments on their feet.
• Basic math skills to operate cash register.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships

Responsibilities

• Carry chemicals and merchandise to customer cars (up to 50 pounds, sometimes several times per hour).
• Operate cash register.
• Test customers' water.
• Ensure racks are fully stocked.
• Complete daily paperwork about store sales and inventory.
• Educate customers on pools, spas, parts, and water chemistry.
• Sell pools, spas, automatic pool cleaners, etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal, Temporary

Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
