| Minimum Qualifications: | |||

Minimum Qualifications: -Must have a Class B CDL license with Tanker Endorsement and ability to operate standard transmission vehicle. -Minimum 1 years' experience within the road construction industry is preferred. -Previous experience operating a Water Truck is preferred. -Must be able to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen, DOT physical, physical performance evaluation. -Must provide and maintain proper license and endorsements, must have acceptable driving record. |

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: 1. Perform daily equipment, walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained. 2. Accurately record pre & post-trip inspections on daily vehicle inspection form. 3. Safely operate water truck and water pumps. 4. Properly apply water volumes according to road surface. 5. Accurately record gallons of water taken from each source staying in compliance with daily limits. 6. Monitor vehicle performance, fluid levels, and mechanical fitness. 7. Assist construction crews while waiting to apply water. 8. Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations. Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous/respectful of others. 9. Troubleshoot and problem solve situations (material quality, equipment operation/repair). 10. Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors. 11. Ensure OSHA, EPA,DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance. 12. Regular and timely attendance is essential to this position. 13. Performs other laboring duties as needed when not operating water truck. |
