We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our growing team of diverse professionals. This role will support a variety of hardware/software maintenance and support activities across the U.S. Army’s Reconfigurable Virtual Collective Trainer (RVCT) prototype development program.
Requirements
Essential Job Functions:
Candidate will perform critical maintenance and technical support functions across the RVCT program. Candidate will shape RVCT Product Support considerations through documentation of maintenance tasks, collection of Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) data, and recommendations to New Equipment Training (NET) course development. Candidate will also support RVCT Test and Evaluation events through operation and preparation of RVCT hardware. Will be responsible for accurately documenting maintenance actions and assist with the creation of maintenance procedures and instructions. Will be responsible for reconfiguration and or assembly/disassembly of RVCT devices, lift heavy objects and work with hand tools.

Required Skills
- 4 years of experience in operational or simulated military hardware maintenance and sustainment
- Experience in simulation hardware/software testing
- Operational understanding of virtual collective simulation exercise control
- Writing or updating maintenance plans and procedure
- Experience in Help Desk management and coordination
- Expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel applications
- Effective Oral and Written communication skills
- Experience in AVCATT or CCTT
- Experience with OneSAF
- Program execution tools, such as Jira and Confluence
- BCS
- Red Hat LINUX
- VMWare
- Applied knowledge of DoD Information Assurance patch application and scanning tools
- Training equivalent to 2 years of technical trade school or military school and 2 years of field service or technical maintenance activities.
