The Role:
Seeking a laboratory technician to work in our Denver based lab performing concrete and soil testing who is interested in a challenging technical position with continuous opportunities to learn. Successful candidates must be self-disciplined, motivated and be able to work in a team environment. This position requires attention to detail, ability to manage multiple responsibilities and strong communication skills. Willing to train.
Responsibilities:
- Perform standard soils testing,
- Completion of test result documentation.
• Maintain a clean work area and equipment to documented health and safety standards.
• Keep project managers advised of work status, problems, and progress related to work assignments.
An Ideal Candidate:
- Must have a good work ethic and be able to multitask, balance workload and take direction from multiple clients.
• Must be able to follow directions and demonstrate strong attention to details.
• Intermediate math skills and experience with Microsoft Office a plus.
• Ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Must be willing to work weekends as required. - High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- 0-5 years of previous geotechnical laboratory experience is a plus.
- Construction materials testing experience a plus.
- Certification (NICET, ICC, ACI) by a qualified national, regional or state authority as appropriate to the services is a plus.
- Valid CO Drivers License is required.
