POSITION PROFILE
The Packaging Engineering is responsible for ensuring the delivery of cost effective, fully compliant packaging solutions that meet current and evolving customer needs. The incumbent will lead troubleshooting and work with a cross functional team to drive effective solutions to reduce product damage and costs.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical expertise to solving packaging related quality issues.
- Identify and lead projects packaging projects that improve service, improve quality, reduce environmental impact, and reduce cost across multiple locations.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to support continuous improvement programs in the manufacturing processes through the redesign of packaging components.
- Provide information, support, and guidance to other business units to ensure that packaging issues are being dealt with in the most effective manner. This can mean new product development, customer requests for information, ECN input, etc.
- Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.
