New York State of Health (NYSOH) is New York's official health plan marketplace established by Executive Order No. 42. The temporary personnel services requested are needed to support the on-going design and development of information technology systems consistent with enrollment goals and federal and state law and rules.

Day-to-Day Tasks

Specific activities to be performed include, but are not limited, to:

• Design and develop multi-platform integration between Java and PHP
  
  

apps using restful services.

• Provide guidance and support in implementing secure Software
  
  

development life cycle

• Research, design and implement best practices for integrating multiple
  
  

applications into a platform as a service model.

Mandatory Qualification

Systems Architect -

Defines the architecture of a computerized system (i.e., a system composed of software and hardware) in order to fulfill certain requirement, including a breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions and interfaces (including with the environment, especially the user), and the technologies and resources to be used in the design.

Expert -

84 months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

Requested Qualifications

• 84 months of experience working in an enterprise application environment with expertise in PHP development, Restful APIs, front end technologies, JavaScript, jQuery, bootstrrap, css
• 84 months of experience in cloud CDN tools, AWS Cloudfront, Application load balancers.
• 84 months of experience working with Drupal content management system including custom themes and modules.
• 60 months of experience working with authentication techniques, Single Sign On, multi-factor Authentication for content management systems.
• 36 months of experience working with container-based technologies and container orchestration.
• 84 months of experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
