Knowledge Capital Associates, LLC is seeking applicants for the position of Logistics Analyst in support of our client, the Marine Corps Systems Command, who mission is to procure and sustain equipment for the U.S. Marine Corps operating forces. This full-time position is located at our corporate office in Stafford, VA and is in support of a current active contract.
Primary duties and responsibilities include:
- Providing timely and correct acquisition logistics advice to the Government's Team Leader, Project Officer, and Logistcians.
- Write life-cycle logistics documentation in support of program milestones and other program events, such as the following documents: Fielding Plans, the logistics sections of Single Acquisition Management Plans (SAMP), IUID Plans, Disposal Plans, Naval Messages, Independent Logistics Assessments (ILA), Naval Messages, etc.
- Draft and edit Stock Lists (SL-3), Technical Manuals (TM), Technical Instruction (TI), Modification Instructions (MI)’s, Supply Instructions (SI), etc.
- Download and analyze data from logistic management systems such as TLCM-OST, TFSMS, GCSS-MC, WebFLIS, etc.
- Prepare and submit TOECRs via TFSMS.
- Prepare and submit service requests in GCSS-MC to birth, redistribute, and dispose of equipment.
- Prepare briefing slides concerning the logistics aspects of programs for Independent Logistic Assessments, Program Reviews, and Milestone Decisions. Take meeting minutes and track action items.
- Participate in program risk reviews and various Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings and if required, take meeting minutes and track action items resulting from the meeting.
- Participate in the development and update of program schedules (IMS) as a member of the IPT and if required, take meeting minutes and track action items.
- Perform other logistic tasks as required by the client.
Candidates must have the ability to multi-task, be proficient with Microsoft Office software to include Word, Excel, Power Point and Project, and possess excellent written and oral English language communication skills.
Occasional travel may be required to support events such as the fielding of equipment to the U.S.M.C. operating forces, inventory of equipment, or program reviews with manufacturers or other Government agencies.
The candidate hired for this position MUST be eligible to receive and maintain a Secret Clearance from the U.S. Government. Clearance is not required at the time of hire. A denial by the U.S. Government to grant the employee an Interim Secret Clearance or for the employee to maintain their classified clearance will result in the individual being dismissed from the company.
Desired Skills:
- Possess previous experience supporting Marine Corps Systems Command.
- Possess DAWIA qualification in the Life-Cycle Logistics Career Field.
- Possess demonstrated experience and proficiency with the following logistic management software systems/tools such as TFSMS, TLCM-OST, GCSS-MC, WebFLIS, etc.
- Prior service in the U.S. Marine Corps is highly desirable.
