Job Title: Court Reporter

Job Description:
Qualified applicants will be expected to prepare documents and records, to complete clerical tasks including making copies, data entry, and filing documents, and in addition may schedule meetings, record court proceedings, and coordinate appointments. Confidentiality and professionalism are an absolute must for this position, and qualified applicants will possess attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills. The Court Reporter will work part-time in an office or courtroom environment, and there is some flexibility in days and hours worked. Professional attire is required.
Duties, Functions, and Responsibilities:
- Drafting court documents
- Ensure the court docket properly and accurately reflects the business scheduled before the court
- Organize and prepare reports and documents
- Assist with maintaining the budget and tracking expenditures/transactions
- Answer the phone and greet members of the public
- Completing tasks in conjunction with other members of the office staff
- Proficient in office management systems
Qualifications, Background, and Educational Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license
- Experience within the administrative/legal field preferred
