Casting Clerk

Job Title: Casting Clerk
Classification: Non-Exempt
Department: Casting
Reports to: Casting Manager
Shift: Monday-Friday
Purpose:
The overall view is to maintain the department production spreadsheets. Duties include inputting data from paper documents into spreadsheets using excel, updating, and double-checking their work to make sure they input data correctly.

General Duties:

• Transfer data from hard copies to digital spreadsheets.
• Create spreadsheets to track important production data
• Organize, sort, and file production paperwork
• Ensure accurateness and completeness of entered data
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues quickly
• Other duties as assigned

Skills:

• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical functions.
• Ability to multitask and work well with others.
• Sense of urgency and self-motivation; ability to work independently.
• Computer literacy with ability to learn new computer software programs.
• Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 - 3 years of experience in clerical data entry
• MS Office and knowledge, QAD is an advantage.
