Job Title: Wastewater Technician
Classification: Non-Exempt
Department: Environmental, Health & Safety
Reports to: EHS Superintendent
Purpose:
Operate and maintain all Wastewater (Outside System and Treatment Building). Monitoring UFOs, EP Water Softeners and Cooling Towers.
Night Shift
General Duties:
- Responsible for operating and maintain the Wastewater Treatment Building and Outside System
- Responsible for maintaining chemicals.
- Monitor water quality compliance from UFOs, EP Wastewater Discharge and Cooling Tower
- Collect data on Systems and perform specific checks
- Investigate all issues and determine root cause of failure
- Perform periodic replacements as needed
- Report findings to Engineering when necessary
- Provide detailed pass downs to the incoming shift
- Help in maintaining inventory for department to perform accurate repairs.
- Maintain good safe working practices.
- Organize and maintain work areas for a good 5S.
- Perform all duties necessary in creating an efficient, effective, and affordable Wastewater department.
- Will perform other functions as required

Requirements:
- 1 Year Industrial Maintenance experience
- Minimum of 1-year experience in Wastewater systems
- High School Diploma or GED required

Salary : $45,200 - $57,300
