What are the responsibilities and job description for the MATERIAL HANDLER - 3RD SHIFT position at Kobelco Aluminum Products & Extrusions Inc?
Maintains production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory and delivering production materials and supplies.
Essential Functions:
Previous forklift experience necessary.
Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and assists in making calls for repairs as needed.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Transport all aspects of material to and from the work centers.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must have adept organization, analyzation, and scheduling skills.
Must have suitable time management skills to meet shipment deadlines.
Must meet all safety and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements.
Must be able to regularly and repeatedly lift over 50 lbs.
Must be able to perform simple data entry using Microsoft excel spreadsheets.
