Landscape construction manager

Koch and Associates is in search of a construction manager to join our residential design and build landscape company. As the construction manager, you will be responsible for managing 2-3 construction crews, managing subcontractors, ordering materials, writing and maintaining accurate construction schedules, and coordinating with clients. This individual needs to have at least 5 years of experience in landscape construction and understand all facets of the trade including hardscape, softscape, carpentry, and reading blueprints. Previous construction management experience required for this position. Ability to speak Spanish and English highly preferred.Koch and Associates is a California bay area based company founded in 1978. At Koch and Associates, you will be surrounded by peers who have made a career out of landscape construction.Specific Job Responsibilities : Management and scheduling of 2-3 construction crewsManagement and scheduling of subcontractorsOrder project specific materialsReview of projects before start of construction with office staff, clients, and field staffAt times move equipment and materials to or from jobsitesUphold the quality and efficiency of construction by staff and subcontractorsPlanning and Scheduling Create an accurate and realistic construction scheduleAssemble material lists and check costs with multiple vendors. Have materials available when needed by the field staff. Orchestrate delivery of materials by vendors or pick up by our staffQualifications : Minimum 4 years experience in landscape and / or construction installation; 1-2 years experience in a supervisory position overseeing install crewsExperience in general construction practice, installation of patios, walkways, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, retaining walls, horticulture, plant installation, basic masonry, carpentry, and irrigationProficient in reading and implementing Construction BlueprintsAbility to use computer related programs for project analysis, scheduling, labor / hours inputting and review, and material orderingExperience with financial budgets, forecasting, strategic planning is a plusKnowledge and / or working experience with Construction and / or LandscapingCalifornia drivers licensePhysical Requirements : Constantly required to talk, hear, see, sit, stand, and walkFrequent use of hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools or controlsFrequently required to reach, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, climb, and balanceOccasionally required to lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and seldom lift and / or move up to 75 poundsJob Type : Full-timePay : $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per yearBenefits : Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offRetirement planSchedule : Monday to FridayWork Location : In person#J-18808-Ljbffr
