John Zink, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is looking for a Regional Account Specialist in Tulsa, OK. This role will support COEN & Thermal Oxidizers.
Our Team
The primary focus of this role will be to develop and maintain strong customer relationships with key accounts within an assigned sales territory, to evaluate customer needs and look for ways to increase product scope through add-on sales, engage with retrofit team to generate larger scope opportunities, product upgrades and cross selling of field services or installation services. This role will interact with a variety of internal groups: procurement, design, engineering, manufacturing, project management, and legal. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal), strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently managing a sales territory, as well as the ability to collaborate as a team to develop long term value for our customers & John Zink.
What You Will Do
- Sales growth & independent innovative thinking to drive & increase business
- Ability to analyze market data to determine market-based pricing
- Ability to understand our competitive advantage & use a creative approach to win orders
- Ability to drive modification of standard products to meet customer needs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment to meet customer schedules and deadlines
- Generate written proposals
- Evaluate commercial terms and conditions
- Following the customer compliance guidelines
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Parts or equipment sales experience
- Understanding of engineer drawings & data sheets
- Ability to travel up to 15%
What Will Put You Ahead
- 2 years of parts or equipment sales experience
- Working knowledge of Salesforce, Cloud Suite, and Microsoft 365
- Experience in establishing and maintaining customer accounts
- Experience with negotiation
