As an Accelerated Engineering Intern, you’ll serve as a critical member to Kohler’s product development teams, designing leading-edge products or technologies that completely transform experiences we know today.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Show your skills: Apply engineering fundamentals and structured problem solving to enable top-notch engineering designs. Leverage your engineering colleagues for insight, feedback, and review to make your technical work is the best it can be.
- Prove that 1 1 is greater than 2: Partner with your cross-functional teammates in Marketing, Purchasing, Quality, Manufacturing, Program Management, and Industrial Design. Face the hard decisions head-on and use the variety of team perspectives to generate better solutions. Recommend next steps and drive alignment with business leadership.
- Help make us better: Evaluate designs for environmental sustainability and recommend improvements. Visit customers or engage experts to understand installation needs and opportunities for quality improvements.
- Bring it all together: Maximize the attention to detail you’ve cultivated as a developing technical expert. Structure and coordinate test requests, bills of materials, engineering timelines, and other technical activities in support of new product launches.
- Must be actively enrolled in a bachelor's degree program from an ABET accredited institution with a major Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical preferred) or related technical discipline.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on an on-going basis without company sponsorship
