Specific Responsibilities
- Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine.
- Sort and stack clean dishes.
- Carry clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas. Rewash soiled dishes before delivering.
- Change dishwater in dish machine every hour.
- Trash removal.
- Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions.
- Sweep/mop floors.
- Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster.
- Conduct general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed.
- Notify manager any time dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures.
- Prepares salad bar items. Ensures freshness of all items; maintains small condiments with fresh contents.
- Ensures refrigeration of appropriate items immediately.
Standard Hours are 5am-noon. Occasionally there will be a split shift and must have availability to work 4pm-7pm. Weekends are required.
