Position Summary
This position is responsible for ensuring that equipment, machinery, and manufacturing processes run smoothly through inspections, preventative care, and repairs involving electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. The role requires using various tools to diagnose issues, complete work orders, maintain records, and ensure safety compliance. Collaboration with management, team members, and vendors is essential to support efficient manufacturing operations that meet quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment, including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on automated miter saws, automated four‑head welders, CNC cleaners, and fabrication equipment.
· Perform preventative maintenance, including inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and servicing of building systems and equipment.
· Respond to emergency calls and manage daily work orders efficiently.
· Adjust machines to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.
· Lead projects and machine repairs to ensure high‑quality work with minimal downtime.
· Test live electrical circuits.
· Unload, transport, and install machinery; work with factory representatives on setup and assist with operator training when necessary.
· Comply with company safety policies and proactively address safety concerns.
· Utilize computer‑assisted equipment and programmable controller components.
· Set up and operate machines using schematics; edit programs on CNC equipment, including automated cleaners and four‑head welders.
· Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
· Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Skills and Abilities
· Education:
- Associate degree in Electromechanical Technology
· Experience:
- Minimum of two years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment
· Certifications & Licenses:
- HVAC certification or equivalent experience (minimum two years)
· Additional Requirements:
· Advanced skills in welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics; intermediate electrical skills.
· Ability to perform work assignments using ladders, man lifts, and tow motors.
· Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
· Ability to work independently and multitask.
· Maintain concentration and composure under stressful situations.
Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
