The Role:
Our client is on the hunt for a Jr. R&D Technologist to join their awesome team in Austin, TX. You’ll be working closely with their R&D team to bring new ideas to life, troubleshoot technical challenges, and help streamline their processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the R&D scientists with their daily tasks and helping move projects forward
- Creating large-scale samples for testing and internal requests
- Running tests on both benchtop and production samples, ensuring they meet all the standards
- Keeping track of R&D ingredients and equipment, so everything stays organized and running smoothly
- Helping with shelf-life testing and oxidation studies
- Making prototypes with guidance from the R&D team to bring new product ideas to life
- Managing the incoming samples log – from unpacking to sending them out
- Keeping detailed, accurate internal documentation for everything you do
- Conducting new product qualification testing and writing test reports
- Teaming up with the QA department to make sure the final products are consistent in both taste and food safety
Requirements:
- An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, or something related – or equivalent hands-on experience
- 0-1 years of experience in the food or beverage industry, preferably in a technical role
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office, G Suite, and Zoom – and you’re a quick learner when it comes to new tech
- A genuine interest in the science behind beverage manufacturing
- A data-driven mindset with a focus on developing top-quality products
