What are the responsibilities and job description for the Merchandiser position at Konrad Beverage Company?
- Install and repair all permanent P.O.S.
- Check all P.O.S. for cleanliness and working condition upon entering an account to install or repair P.O.S
- Record time in and time out on merchandising reports.
- Call on each account as scheduled
- Create, develop and maintain good will in every account.
- Rotate Anheuser-Busch products according to Anheuser-Busch and Konrad Beer Distributor policy.
- Ask retailers for floor displays and additional product and draft distribution.
- Inventory and keep the P.O.S. room clean. Put away all new P.O.S. promptly in its proper area in a neat manner.
- Survey from the street, as you enter, at the point of selection (windows, shelves, and aisles), and at the point of payment. At each of these locations look for opportunities. Sell those opportunities to the retailer. Seek to stand out and dominate in all of these areas: street visibility, P.O.S. distribution and location, price cards on all displays when allowed, primary & secondary displays, merchandising and distribution.
- Drive your vehicle safely, courteously, and obey all traffic regulations.
- Communicate and cooperate with the salesperson who is assigned to the account to maximize merchandising within account.

- Able to lift, load, unload and move product weighing up to 165 lbs. as well as hang merchandise material.
