Position Overview:
The Residential Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the construction of new single-family homes and multifamily projects from start to finish. This position involves coordinating subcontractors, managing daily schedules, and ensuring all work is completed on time, within budget, and according to our high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee and manage new home construction projects from start through completion, ensuring that all phases are completed on schedule.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Coordinate the daily scheduling of trade partners and subcontractors, ensuring that all necessary resources are available when needed.
- Job Site Supervision: Provide daily job site supervision, conducting inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols.
- Municipal Inspections: Coordinate with local authorities to ensure all required inspections are completed in a timely manner and according to municipal regulations.
- Safety Protocols: Enforce safety standards and ensure the site adheres to all necessary safety regulations and protocols.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with homeowners, subcontractors, vendors, and internal team members.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing any issues or concerns that arise during construction and keeping homeowners informed throughout the process.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in residential construction management or a degree in construction management is a plus.
- Computer Proficiency: Must be computer proficient and capable of using project management software to manage schedules, budgets, and communication.
- Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Customer Service & Communication: Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear and proactive communication with all stakeholders.
- Field Training: Full field training will be provided; however, prior experience in residential construction management is a bonus.
- Attention to Detail: Must be highly detail-oriented and focused on maintaining the highest quality of work on all projects.
