What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phone Shop Tech, Sales Associate position at Kopetsky's Ace Hardware?
We are currently looking for a cell phone technician.
Primary duties will include:
- Repairing, selling and merchandising cell phones, tablets, and other gadgets.
Additional duties are:
- helping customers
- ability run run a point of sale system
- Operating our laser engraver machine
- programming automotive chip keys
- replacing watch batteries
- replacing window screens
- cutting glass
- filling propane
- assembly of bulk items
- putting away freight

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience working with cell phone hardware and software
- Ability to write diagnosis and work completed on routine reports (repair orders).
- Knowledge of cell phone operation
- Ability to speak effectively one-on-one with customers.
- Ability to use store computers and various types of diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs
Provide a positive representation of Kopetsky's Ace Hardware.
Proactively assist customers in solving problems.
Greet customers entering and throughout the store. Thank customers when finished and when they are leaving the store.
Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.
Ensure all pages and calls are answered promptly, courteously and effectively.
Forward any customer complaint that cannot be handled to a member of management.
Possess strong product knowledge and knowledge of store layout and location of products.
Assist customers throughout the store with personal, customized service based on the premise of amazing every customer, every time.
Salary : $30,100 - $38,100
