Leasing Manager

The Leasing Manager is responsible for effective leasing, marketing, daily admin operations and positive resident relations within the Koz communities. This is a floating position between the Lynnwood and Seattle Koz properties. The schedule for this position is Tuesday through Saturday.

Job Responsibilities:

• Effectively show and lease units.
• Achieve at least 12-15 rentals per month.
• Keep accurate data of all leasing efforts, new leases, guest cards and applications in Appfolio
• Prepare all the files needed by residents, this will include preparing move-in packets.
• Help residents when they move in, including doing the unit inspection to ensure that a space is ready to be moved into.
• Scheduling appointments for prospects to view units and giving tours to interested prospects.
• Answering calls from interested parties and answering queries from residents.
• Help prospects with the application process.
• Performing credit and criminal background checks on prospective residents, including informing a potential resident that their application has been approved or denied.
• Provide incoming residents with an orientation of their rented space.
• Keeping vacancy information up to date and accurate in AppFolio.
• Help organize and host resident events.
• Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property and competition as well as market conditions.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3 years’ experience in property management
• 3 years leasing experience
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
