What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaner/Janitor position at KP Cinemas?
KP Cinemas is looking for a cleaning person to help maintain the theater's cleanliness.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and appearance of assigned areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean and sanitize restrooms
- Refill soap dispensers, paper towel holders, and toilet paper dispensers
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
- Follow established safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Requirements:
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or commercial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as needed
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors
Note: This position will be required to work during the hours the business is closed including weekends or holidays.
