We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Oversee project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets and monitor expenditures.
- Review and interpret blueprints, ensuring all work aligns with design specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Perform construction estimating to prepare accurate cost assessments for projects
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding project progress and any potential issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Superintendent role or similar position within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction site management practices and safety regulations (OSHA).
- Familiarity with underground and grading operations and procedures
- Proficient in blueprint reading and construction estimating techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
