The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for overseeing certain aspects of field operations related to a construction project. The position ensures the project is completed on time, within budget, and to exceptional quality standards. Lead and coordinate subcontractors and vendors to execute work proficiently on the project. Participate in project safety, quality, and compliance. Collaborate with on-site team of construction professionals.
Responsibilities:
Assist, plan, and sequence projects; schedule subcontractors, vendors, and trades as well as coordinate construction activities through the project schedule. Participate in safety orientations, weekly meetings, toolbox talks, pre-installation meetings, RFI and submittal process, storm water management, inspections, and other regulatory requirements. Collaborate with the ownership and design teams to recognize and resolve constructability issues.
Skills:
Fundamental plan reading, problem solving, strategic planning, technical writing, critical thinking, and risk mitigation. Basic knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, Bluebeam, Procore, MS Office, Outlook, Zoom, MS Teams, AutoCad for plan viewing, and DocuSign.
Experience:
Background of 3 years in construction field operations. Sound knowledge of multiple product types and trades. Manage small and mid-sized projects.

Physical Requirements:
- Desk and computer work
- Inspect job sites: walk 3-5 miles, climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding
