Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Monitor children's behavior and address any disciplinary issues using positive behavior management techniques
- Ensure the health and safety of children by following proper hygiene practices and administering first aid when necessary
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare space
Skills:
- Experience in nannying, early childhood education, or daycare settings
- Knowledge of infant care, preschool curriculum, and childhood development milestones
- Ability to manage multiple children of different ages simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and other staff members
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Basic first aid knowledge and certification in CPR is preferred but not required
- Previous experience in behavior management is a plus
