Design Drafter

Kratos is seeking a Design Drafter with the following responsibilities:

• Create detailed technical drawings and designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop design concepts and solutions
• Review and revise designs to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements
• Develop and maintain design standards and procedures
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld
• Participate in project meetings and presentations as needed
• Familiar with technical illustration and ability to update documentation

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum education level needed, Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Minimum # of years of job related experience needed, 5 yr
• CAD modeling drafting abilities mechanical and electrical preferred
• Technical illustration strongly desired

Desired Skills and Experience

• Autodesk Inventor preferred, not required
• Solidworks experience can replace inventor experience
