We now very successfully support our customers - many of whom are long-standing - in all three technologies including injection molding machinery, reaction process machinery, and extrusion machinery, as well as integrated automation solutions.

Summary
As part of the Spare Parts Group, this position is responsible for coordinating all Spare Parts activities.
Essential Functions
Follow Standardized Order to Cash Process:
  • Provide spare part and retrofit quotations to customers, via the SAP system.
  • Process and coordinate spare part, warranty, retrofit, domestic, and international part order types.
  • Define basic spare part, warranty, and retrofit part order types.
  • Communicate with customers via phone and email.
  • Communicate with customers to clarify lead time urgency.
  • Collaborate with procurement and other cross functional teams to improve lead times when appropriate.
  • Provide proactive communication to sales and management when customer delivery expectations will not be met.
  • Track spare parts orders with lead times and provide updates to the customer when delivery timing changes or delivery is scheduled/imminent.
  • Provide requisite information to freight team, including customs documents to allow international deliveries.

  • Understands basic equipment function – able to identify equipment functional locations and state general equipment functions.
  • Understands parts definition process.
  • Can execute standardized order to cash process for parts and retrofits, through SAP.
  • Delivers impactful verbal and written communication.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment in our Florence facility. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines which create low-moderate noise.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
  • Light to moderate lifting is required.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness required.
Expected Hours of Work
This is a salaried, exempt level, full-time position with standard working days/hours of Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. This position is not eligible for overtime pay. Actual working hours may vary.
Travel
Travel is negligible, but is primarily local and during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel is possible. Travel to Germany or other international locations, while not likely, is possible for training/conferences.
Required Education and Experience
  • Associates Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in parts environment, preferably in the machinery industry or similar.
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Extensive computer skills in MS Office and SAP
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both oral and written
