About Bonding Source
We are seeking a reliable Laser Operator to join our team in Manchester, NH. In this role, you will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines with precision, adjusting laser settings, performing inspections, packaging materials, creating labels, and preparing shipments to designated facilities.
This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CO₂ laser systems efficiently and independently
- Set up operations, load programs, follow detailed work instructions, and adjust G-code or parameters as needed
- Develop and fine-tune laser settings for various materials (cutting methods, feed rates, power, etc.)
- Optimize laser cutting programs for yield and cut quality
- Perform first and second-piece inspections visually and using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) systems such as Micro-Vu
- Conduct routine maintenance and evaluation of equipment, including laser beam alignment and X/Y-stage adjustments
- Package epoxy sheet products, inspect final parts, apply labeling, and log completed jobs
- Follow production schedules and meet customer deadlines
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow operational safety protocols
- Physically manage materials and components in and around laser systems (standing, bending, reaching required)
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus
- 1 year of experience in a warehouse, packaging, or manufacturing environment is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Experience with CAD software is a plus
- Familiarity with measurement or inspection systems is desirable
