What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant/Toddler/Preschool Teacher position at Kristin Paoletta’s Barefoot Daycare?
I am a GROUP Daycare which allows me to have 12 children at a time. I am looking for a reliable employee who must be able to work 2-4 days a week any time scheduled as early as 7:30 AM as late until 4:00 PM.
Duties:
- Assist in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in the daycare
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities and play
- Help with mealtime routines, including feeding and clean-up
- Assist with diaper changes and potty training
- Support the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Ensure the daycare space is clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Monitor children's behavior and address any behavioral issues using appropriate behavior management techniques
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to create a positive and inclusive environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in babysitting, nannying, or caregiving roles preferred
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques for children
- Ability to work well with children of different ages and backgrounds
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in early childhood development is a plus
