Kroeschell is seeking a Construction Project Manager
The Project Manager assembles the project team and manages the project scope; schedule, project risks, safety leadership, and budget to ensure Kroeschell's commitments are met in an accurate and timely communicated process.
THE ROLE:
- Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building code requirements, and quality standards to ensure all work is performed per regulations.
- Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain project timelines and budgets. Able to successfully engage and lead a geographically dispersed team.
- Conduct daily site visits and meetings to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction. Detailed support and follow-up as required.
- Confers with project staff to outline work plans, assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority; coordinates activities with project staff to ensure project progress within the prescribed timelines and provides technical advice to resolve problems.
- Reviews project proposals, drawings, and plans to determine the timeframe, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project.
- Develops, tracks, and coordinates the delivery of materials and equipment to the site to align with the procurement/equipment schedule.
- Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results.
- Acts in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and other associates while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations.
- Responsible for ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and constructed with superior quality and safety.
- Promote an injury-free job site through safety initiatives and safety programs.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience managing projects ranging from $1-$30 million. Proven ability to track costs incurred and forecast anticipated costs to calculate, communicate, and report an accurate estimate to complete in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated ability to lead project teams with projects of moderate size, scope, and complexity. Promotes relationships between Contractor; Subcontractor, KECO Team members, and client representatives.
· Minimum of 8 years of related experience with commercial/industrial mechanical, electrical, plumbing,
construction, and/or project management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers, to listen, learn, and understand their needs.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Demonstrates a proactive decision-making approach by involving the appropriate people within the decision-making process. Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals.
- Observe safety and security procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred not required. An engineering-related program or equivalent trade-related experience is highly preferred.
- Experienced in MS Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, Word, OneDrive, etc.
What makes you stand out:
- Experience with DoD construction projects including government submittal processes.
- Experience with US Army Corps of Engineers and/or Department of Defense projects.
- Experience managing projects in the field with direct customer interaction on a daily basis.
- Experience with Procore, PlanGrid, or other construction management software a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification
- Experience with and/or active safety certifications including EM-385-1-1, OSHA 10hr or 30hr, First Aid / CPR, and related construction safety training is a plus.
