What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baler Operator - 3rd Shift position at Kruger Inc.?
Baler Operator - As a member of the Corrugator team, the Baler Operator will bale waste material, load waste materials into trailers, input weight into QMS system for wet-end waste, and measure and record the weight of waste shipments.
The position requires you to work indoors and outdoors at various temperatures. The interior of the plant is roughly 10 degrees cooler than the actual temperature outside.
3rd Shift – Nights
Pay Rate: $18.54/hour 3rd Shift Differential of $0.50/hour

RESPONSIBILITIES
- follow all safety rules and practices;
- accurately weighing waste bales, and recording bale weights on bale tallies;
- loading waste bales into trailers;
- feeding waste into the shredder / hogger;
- obtaining waste loads from production areas as directed;
- maintaining a clean and organized baler room;
- loading seconds and other non-shredded waste into trucks for shipment;
- working with returned goods;
- cleaning the baler and notifying maintenance of problems as necessary;
- performing other duties as directed by the Corrugator Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Prefer Minimum 6 Months experience in a manufacturing type environment.
- Prefer Forklift Experience
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as, but not limited to, hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, and safety toe shoe
