WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Payroll Specialist will assist with the processing of weekly hourly and bi-weekly salaried payroll and year-end payroll reporting. This position will also assist with payroll accounting and account reconciliations.
- Assist with processing all transactions related to weekly hourly and bi-weekly salaried payroll in an accurate timely manner
- Liaise with HR team to maintain accurate payroll records and verify payroll adjustments (new hires, employee transfers, pay increases, terminations, leave of absences, vacation pay, benefit, 401K contributions, etc.)
- Assist with preparation of various payroll reports and remittances including year-end reporting forms
- Process and issue Record of Employments (ROEs) in timely manner
- Process payroll related journal entries into SAP and prepare payroll account reconciliations
- Maintain knowledge of federal and state payroll legislation
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 2 - 3 years of payroll experience
- Detailed-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information in an ethical and professional manner
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of ADP WFN, Kronos
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Teams
- JDE and SAP experience would be an asset
