Responsibilities
- Supervise nightly restaurant operations, including food preparation, service flow, and staff management to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Oversee food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and compliance with health regulations to guarantee a safe environment for guests and team members.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation with accuracy and integrity.
- Train, mentor, and develop staff members on food handling, customer service excellence, and operational procedures to foster a motivated team.
- Conduct shift management duties including scheduling staff shifts, supervising kitchen and front-of-house activities, and resolving any operational issues promptly.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns swiftly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere throughout the night shift.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision with a strong background in quick service or fast food environments.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking processes, and kitchen management best practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transaction processing and reporting.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, interviewing potential employees, and supervising shifts.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards, inventory control procedures, and budgeting principles within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication skills paired with a customer-focused attitude to deliver outstanding hospitality experiences.
- Previous experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
