Our client is looking for a Personal Lines Account Manager to join their team in their office in Marion, Iowa. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in Personal Lines with a customer focused attitude and growth mindset to be a part of a GREAT company.
As a Personal Lines Account Manager you will be responsible for maintaining high account retention by providing excellent customer service which includes risk management assessments/advice, cross-selling appropriate services to existing clients, and managing daily service requests. Some additional duties may include inbound sales and claims advocacy.
Essential Job Duties:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, both internal and external.
- Receive, document and process all insured requests for service (changes, auto ID, quotes).
- Round out existing account by proactively selling additional personal lines coverages or policies.
- Initiate contact with current clients, including outbound calls, email and written correspondence to recommend and sell additional lines of coverage as appropriate. Conduct annual insurance reviews.
- Quote, review, and sell policies to in-bound carrier callers, walk-ins, referrals, or current clients, utilizing agency and carrier guidelines.
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors or Associates preferred.
- P&C insurance license required.
- 5 years or more of Personal Lines and/or Commercial Lines experience preferred.
