The Export Documentation Clerk is responsible for preparing customs documentation for export shipments and tracking material to the final point of installation.

Your Role

The Export Documentation Clerk is responsible for preparing customs documentation for export shipments and tracking material to the final point of installation.

Your Responsibilities

•Create commercial invoices.
•File AES through the ACE system for shipments requiring such.
•Create Dangerous Goods Declarations (DGD) along with the packaging and preparing of hazardous material shipments.
•Audit daily shipments as well as carriers/couriers.
•Assist CSR groups with Export/Hazmat questions as necessary.
•Respond to Compliance Inbox Emails.
•Provide HTS/ECCN codes as needed.
•Work with Export Commodity Control items.

Your Skills and Experiences

•Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
•Experience in export compliance is preferred
•Ability to communicate - written and verbal
•Ability to read and comprehend instructions
•Ability to establish priorities and to function in a multi-tasked environment
•Ability to function in a team-oriented environment
•Possess professional business demeanor
•Knowledge of the following Microsoft software applications – Excel, Word, and Outlook
