What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Worker position at Kulana Malama?
Performs general laundry tasks such as wash, dry, sort, fold and mend, as necessary, clothes and linen in accordance with various requirements. Operate related equipment in institutional laundry operation in safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulation. Perform related work such as assisting supervisor in setting up work, delivery and pick up schedules; monitoring and regulating work flow; maintaining records and preparing simple reports regarding day to day operation; requesting supplies as needed and conducting inventory. Perform custodial work as required. May perform driving as necessary.
