Pay: Starting at $15.79 per hour

Location: 14238 SE 176th St, Renton, WA 98058

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome students as soon as they arrive at the center
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure the safety of students in the center
  • Informing clients when their child(ren) is done with the day's lesson
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, reading materials, etc)
  • Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Order front office supplies and keep an inventory of stock
  • Schedule meetings and parent orientations

Qualifications

  • Minimum education required: High school diploma/GED
  • Experience working with children strongly preferred
  • Work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative preferred
  • Customer service attitude
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (printers, paper cutters)
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Ability to effectively communicate with the instructor and parents regarding student's progress and behavior
  • Strong organizational skills are essential to aid in preparing materials for the day's plans
  • Ability to prioritize activities quickly and support the instructor in instances that are exceptionally busy
  • Ability to manage potentially challenging behavior from students and maintain a professional and patient demeanor
  • Experience fostering positive relationships with children and parents in a learning environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
