Exteriors Lead

Position Summary/Primary Goal :
The Exteriors Lead position, reporting directly to the Project Manager, encompasses various responsibilities throughout the project production process. The Exteriors Lead is responsible for a variety of job duties to assist with project completion. , including but not limited to constructing retaining walls, operating heavy equipment, and assisting with pool installation. Additionally, they utilize hand tools, power tools and other necessary equipment to complete job tasks.

Site Duties

• Responsible for hardscape construction such as retaining walls, patios, pergolas, window and siding, heavy equipment operations and pool installation.
• Maintain regular communication with costumers to ensure satisfaction.
• Assign work to carpenters on-site in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Uphold FHI quality standards in all installations and duties.
• Ensure safety compliance for yourself and others on-site.
• Train junior staff in FHI field and processes and guidelines.
• Provide guidance on project cleanliness, safety, efficiency, and customer service.
• Ensure ability and proper maintenance of required tools.
• Monitor the use and storage of company tools and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and report any issues promptly.

Qualifications:
Candidates should have prior experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role. The following skills are essential or highly desirable:

• Minimum 2 Years Experience specilizing in Exterior-focused projects, such as patios, pergolas, Window and Siding Installation and heavy equipment operations. Pool installation experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
• Competent in the use of power tools.
• Physical ability to perform the job duties in all weather conditions.
• Basic measurement and calculation skills.
• Ability to follow safe working procedures.
• Excellent Observation skills and strong attention to detail.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision, and as part of a team.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
