Full Time Employee Relations Analyst, La Crosse, WI: Due to Kwik Trip’s continued growth and success we are adding a Full-Time Employee Relations Analyst to our Talent Operations (Human Resources) team. While best known for our product and service offerings to our 8 million retail guests each week throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, South Dakota, and Iowa, a lesser known fact is that beautiful La Crosse, WI is home to our ever expanding 140 acre support campus. Our La Crosse Campus includes a wide variety of production facilities, distribution center, truck maintenance facility, transportation/logistics, store construction, fuel trading, sales, and pretty much every support department you can imagine a 38,000 -coworker strong organization would have.
Job Description:
This coworker will be responsible for educating our leaders on employee relations best practices to promote positive and productive relationships between leaders and coworkers.
Regular tasks include:
- Implementing effective, fair, and consistent employee relation strategies
- Leading, directing, and at times, conducting workplace investigations
- Coaching leaders at all levels of organization to ensure that adverse employment actions (discipline, suspension, termination, etc.) are made in compliance with company policies, Mission/Values, and local, State and Federal Laws
- Policy development, communication, training, and analytics
Our Talent Partnerships team members work both individually and as part of a team to help ensure our culture is maintained while minimizing significant legal risk to the organization.
Qualifications:
- Educational background normally attained through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in a Human Resource Management, Sociology, Psychology or commensurate experience
- Minimum of 1-year general Human Resource, Social Work or leadership experience. However 2 years working with employment related matters is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of EEO, NLRA, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, federal and state laws, and other HR compliance issues
- Demonstrated ability to communicate (oral and written) effectively with customers and/or coworkers where strong interpersonal skills are required
- Experience with handling highly sensitive information in a confidential manner
- High customer service standards
- Strong time management, judgment, decision making and problem solving skills
- Self-directed
- Detail-orientated and proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours.
