Job Summary
The Skinner is responsible for cutting, measuring, and attaching metal siding to refrigeration racks according to customer specifications. This role demands the ability to meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards. The position requires proficiency in reading blueprints and shop orders, using various tools safely and effectively, and working independently to maintain production goals.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
· Required to measure and cut siding accurately, efficiently, and safely and use tool gun to secure to racks.
· Must be able to read, understand, and apply customer specifications per shop orders.
· Must be able to safely and effectively use tools for the job, identify unit components, cut and install siding with minimal scrap.
· Consistently meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards in order to meet company/customer requirements.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills
Required:
· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Associated Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Must be able to read, write, accurately read a tape measure, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
· Able to work independently to maintain production, efficiency, quality and discipline.
· Must use appropriate skills, required equipment, and tools, and accurately read and interpret blueprints.
· Must work with minimal supervision and maximum initiative to assure that the job gets done in a timely and effective manner.

Working Environment & Conditions/Physical Requirements
· Wear required PPE, including steel toed safety shoes, at all times, follow 6S procedures, participate in preventative injury exercises, and comply with all job-related work instructions.
· Install siding on racks, often working in position of reaching overhead, squatting, bending and working on top of units.
· Some lifting up to 50 lbs. may be required. Must be able to work up to 12 hours/day, 7 days/week as required.

· Drill, tool gun, Phillips head and flat head screwdrivers, tape measure, cut saw and small wrenches.
