What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chief Engineer position at L B & B ASSOCIATES INC?
LB&B Associates Inc. is currently accepting applications for a full-time Chief Engineer to support our contract to provide operations and maintenance services for the General Services Administration at federal buildings and U.S. courthouses in the Virginia area. Position is based out of the Richmond, VA or Norfolk, VA office but is required to travel to facilities throughout the state. Must be willing to travel and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required.
The ideal candidate will have at least a High School Diploma and five (5) years of recent experience as a Chief Engineer or related supervisory position in a large commercial high rise facility. Must have experience working on chillers, boilers, pumps, and heat exchangers, HVAC Systems, Building Automation Systems, Life Safety Systems, Utility Services, Electrical Power Distribution, Plumbing and other mechanical equipment. EPA Universal Refrigerant license required.
Serves as the primary liaison to our customer on water testing and flushing.
Quality assurance for in-house and subcontractor performed water testing and flushing activity.
Provide updates and reports to management and customer as required.
