Plant Maintenance
L. G. Everist, Inc., founded in 1876, produces and supplies sand, gravel, and quarried stone throughout the Midwest region of the United States. We are seeking individuals to help keep the quarry clean and running properly.
JOB SUMMARY
You will be doing manual labor which includes cleaning, maintenance, and start-ups/shutdowns on plants. Safety is a top priority.
LOCATION
Hawarden, IA
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform the physical duties of the work in all types of weather conditions.
- Perform minor servicing and maintenance on equipment as needed, using ladders to access platforms and landings.
- Display good communication skills including the ability to understand and follow verbal and written direction and instructions.
- Safely and efficiently use a variety of hand and power tools.
- Read, understand, and follow safety rules and regulations and procedures.
- Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
SCHEDULE
Full-time Monday thru Friday. Some Saturdays are possible

Salary : $37,400 - $47,300
