Retail Merchandiser – Role for Merchandising at Fred Meyer specifically
Store Locations: Vancouver, WA
About the role and timing:
-The job will require availability for specific days of the week based on the store schedule.
Mondays/Tuesdays or Thursdays/Fridays based on assigned stores with an option to work.
weekends as needed. Based on the footage, a single-store service could take 1-2 days to perform.
-The representative could work at another banner/store on Wednesdays based on hours.
Pay rate: Up to $17.50 (Based on experience and location)

As a Retail Merchandiser You Will:
- Travel to open stores on the assigned route to independently stock cosmetics or general merchandise at assigned retailers
- Use a company-supplied tablet to place orders for new products
- Follow a specific store visit process: merchandising the delivery from the previous order, filling out task forms, taking pictures, ordering inventory to maintain stock levels and other special projects as requested
- Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and policies regarding invoicing, exchanges, and returns
- Become familiar with planograms and footage by department, while balancing sales and inventory control
- Communicate professionally with store employees and managers, and the District Manager in person, over the phone, or via e-mail
- Keep the shelves and sections we service clean
- Conduct physical work, frequently moving, bending, standing, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
How will you succeed? – Qualifications for the role:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D; previous merchandising or retail experience a plus
- Must be 18 years or older
- Previous retail experience or willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Your own vehicle or reliable transportation
- Proof of Car Insurance
- Motor vehicle history with 3 or fewer moving violations within the last 36 months (3 years)
- Computer or smartphone with an internet connection
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
