Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to pediatric patients in outpatient setting . Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients, including history taking and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical history.
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret laboratory results, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Provide triage services to prioritize patient care effectively.
- Administer treatments and medications as prescribed, utilizing aseptic techniques.
- Collaborate with specialists in areas such as Gastroenterology and PICU for complex cases.
- Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in pediatric nursing.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Pediatric Nurse Practitioner studies.
- Current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) or equivalent.
- Experience in a clinical setting, particularly within a medical office or pediatric clinic environment.
- Proficiency in using neonatal ventilators and understanding ventilation techniques for critically ill infants.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures relevant to pediatric care.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and healthcare teams.
- Familiarity with triage protocols and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
