L7 Creative is looking for an Account Executive, who can oversee multiple accounts ranging from Healthcare Recruitment, E-commerce, Consumer Electronics, and Manufacturing industry.

L7 Creative is a Digital Media marketing agency. We’re proven performers who have withstood the tests of all types of markets as we have been in business for 21 years and counting! We are the longest lasting agency in San Diego County and proud of our records. We work with some of the fastest growing media and eCommerce companies in the world.

The ideal candidate would be someone who is 3 years into their career and is looking for an opportunity to develop their skills under the guidance of a seasoned Director of marketing. We are growing fast, so we need someone who is comfortable switching tasks regularly and prioritizing their work efficiently. We want a free thinker who isn’t afraid to speak their mind and contribute to the success of the company and our clients. We need a self starter who can take limited direction and run with it.


The job.

  • Serve as agency representative and client brand steward by developing strategic client objectives, leading the account, constantly assessing the brand position and managing the internal agency team resources to best service the overall client account.
  • Assist with client brand strategies based on cultural, consumer, customer and competitive insights. Developing a detailed understanding of client brand’s audiences, cultures, business and technology landscapes, and help translate insights into account and creative development.
  • Estimate, plan, coordinate and direct advertising campaigns and projects for agency clients. Responsible for staying on strategy, on time and within budget.
  • Ensure agency involvement in all appropriate client activities to provide maximum knowledge of and service to the client (example: attendance at major meetings or trade shows).
  • Provide weekly account updates to your manager – the Director of Marketing and (Director of Operations (Informational only)).
  • Build strong, lasting client/agency relationships based on achieving clients’ marketing objectives with efficiency that results in agency profit.
  • Deliver on the agency’s mission of being Legendary and making things happen for our clients and their customers.
  • Strong understanding of social, digital, content space.
  • Proactively look for alternative sources of work from current or past clients. Always ask what else the agency can be doing to support each client.
  • Stay current on industry trends and news—especially client industry related material.
  • Work with new business team to identify leads, targets and prospects. Work with team to develop and execute new business pitches.


They will possess the following skills/qualifications:

  • 2-4 years’ work experience in position with similar responsibilities. Experience with Healthcare Recruitment is highly desired
  • Capability of managing both high-level regional and national accounts.
  • Ability to deliver strategic, clear, effective client presentations that tell a memorable story and highlight agency skills and talents.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Advertising agency experience is mandatory
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills—must be able to independently present to client teams and clearly communicate the agency’s point of view

  • We are a hybrid team. We have an office in Carlsbad where we meet each Tuesday and Thursday. Some staff like to come to the office almost daily. Others prefer their home office. We’re flexible and will work with your needs. Please note: You do not have to live in San Diego to be considered for the job. All applicants that do reside in San Diego or Orange counties, will be required to be in office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 


This is a Hybrid position for Southern California applicants. Hybrid consist of two days in office per week on Tuesdays Thursdays. This is a 100% remote position for the right applicants that are not in the San Diego county.


The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000 up to $100,000 annually for the right person. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, unlimited PTO, and/or other benefits are available. Commissions and bonus structures are available.
