What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coaches, Middle School Girl's Volleyball position at La Jolla Country Day School?
La Jolla Country Day School is seeking enthusiastic, high-energy, and proven program and consensus builders to join the athletics team as coaches with the Volleyball program. This individual joins a team of coaches dedicated to the well-being of all Country Day students, from Tiny Torreys (age 3) through Grade 12.
Country Day has a rich tradition of athletic excellence on the field, court, and in the pool. State-of-the-art facilities combined with a passionate and dedicated coaching staff have led the Torreys to unparalleled success over the last decade. LJCDS students participate in athletics at a rate that is among California’s highest; 80 percent of the Upper School and 98 percent of the Middle School students participated on at least one athletic team in 2019–20 with 140 Upper School students playing two sports and 26 earning three-sport recognition.
Middle School coaches must be availble on School days beginning at 2p for practice with their team.
You must have:
- Coaching and/or playing experience
- The physical ability to play and demonstrate the sport they will be coaching
- Experience working with youth
- Consistent positive energy level
- Punctuality and good time management skills
- Must be a high school graduate
